Alison Stickney
BVSc(hons) MVS MANZCVS DipACVIM PhD
Alison is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, meaning she specialises in a range of medical disorders in dogs and cats. She has a special interest in immune mediated and infectious disease, having completed a PhD in Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. She graduated from the University of Melbourne, completed her specialist training in NZ, and has more than a decade of experience as a specialist. Prior to that, she worked in both general and emergency practice. Alison has a practical approach to case management, and tries to find options to suit all situations. Aside from her veterinary work, Alison is also a busy mum, avid sewer and teaches ballet in her spare time. She is a self confessed crazy cat lady
