Casey Gordon

BVSc (Hons) MANZCVS (Surgery)

Casey Gordon is in the final year of her surgical residency at Animal Referral Hospital Brisbane. 

Casey graduated from UQ in 2013. She worked in mixed practice for 5 years, during which time she discovered her love for small animal surgery.  

She completed two surgical internships and passed the ANZCVS membership exam in small animal surgery, receiving the Paul Gotis-Graham award for the highest mark. She has also passed the ANZCVS membership exam in small animal medicine. 

She has published papers on osteoarthrits, elbow luxation, pelvectomy and more, and is currently investigating new techniques in lameness assessment.  

Casey has presented her research internationally and been recognized with awards for her contributions.
